Welcome to the new COCo website!
After many months of behind the scenes work we are excited to take you on a quick virtual tour of the site and introduce you to some of the highlights!
We think that we've kept the best of the old site:
- Simple, easy to use navigation and layout without any fancy flash or frills allows the site to be as accessible as possible to a wide range of users
- Legal Information Sheets are easily available for download along with other free multi-media COCo Publications
- The COCo Toolbox looks a little different but still provides the same direct access to quality community organizing tools - including many of the fundraising tools from mapthemoney.com
- An online version of the E-bulletin - our monthly electronic newsletter is still posted on the site along with an archive of past newsletters from the last 12 months.
And added some valuable new features as well:
- A dynamic home page which highlights our COCo services and includes a blog of recent news and events
- A community calendar that displays all of the events listed in our E-bulletin as well as other upcoming community happenings
- Simple online forms that you can fill out to submit postings to the E-bulletin or events for the community calendar
- Ratings and comment sections for every tool in the COCo Toolbox so that you can quickly find the best quality resources
- An innovative community RSS news page that combines the current headlines and updates from dozens of relevant sources information for community groups
