The Depot Community Food Centre is looking for two partner organizations based in Montreal to start Boîte à Lunch, an after school cooking and nutrition program for elementary school children, in their neighbourhoods. We are particularly interested in organizations that work in food security and serve low-income neighbourhoods and schools.
Two partner community organizations will be selected to launch their own Boîte à Lunch program in the fall of 2019. The cost of implementing the program is estimated at $34,000 annually. The Depot is offering the selected organization a grant of $20,000 towards the implementation of the program in their neighborhood. The selected organizations must therefore be able to assume the balance of costs.
