Join Cinema Politica Concordia for our last screening of the Winter season – the Quebec premiere of WORLDS OF URSULA K. LE GUIN, a spirited biographical portrait and celebration of the groundbreaking life and work of feminist author Ursula K. Le Guin. The screening will be followed by a discussion with:

• Su J. Sokol: Author, activist and social lawyer who recently wrote “Cycling to Asylum,” a speculative fiction novel exploring the hardships of border-crossing.
•  Jo Walton: Sci-fi and fantasy author and winner of Hugo Awards, Nebula Awards and World Fantasy Awards. Walton has met with Le Guin, who has had a great influence on her work.
• Helen Chau Bradley: Queer mixed-race writer, musician & arts administrator. She plays in the band Heathers, works for POP Montreal, and hosts the Strange Futures book club at Librairie Drawn & Quarterly.
• the discussion will be moderated by James Goddard, interdisciplinary artist and coordinator of the Documentary Futurism project.

This screening is co-presented with Horizons imaginaires and co-sponsored by Fasa Concordia. Admission is by donation ($5-10 suggested). The venue is wheelchair accessible. LE GUIN, un portrait biographique et une célébration de la vie et l’oeuvre de l’écrivaine féministe Ursula K. Le Guin. La projection sera suivie d’une discussion avec:
