The East Island Network for English Language Services (REISA) seeks a Bilingual Communications and Projects Agent to work on the implementation of health and social services community projects.
Primary responsibilities
– Assist the executive director and the coordinator in tasks related to projects
– Coordinate projects and produce reports of activities
– Research, update and produce resource guides
– Maintain website (calendar; documents; resources)
– Produce a monthly newsletter
– Disseminate information to partners
– Address inquiries from community
Qualifications required
– Bachelor degree with 5 years experience in the field of community development, applied human sciences, social work, communications
– Or 5 years related experience in the community or health sector
– Fluency in English and French
– Strong writing skills
Other qualifying skills and abilities
– Knowledge of health and social services
– Experience in community organising
– Experience in communications
– Familiar with the non-profit sector
– Good interpersonal skills
Position : full time for one year from April 18, 2017 to March 31st, 2018
With the possibility of extension.
Hours per week: 30
