As part of The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, the Centre des femmes solidaires et engagées – Your Women’s centre, is organizing a march and candlelight vigil on the Promenade Fleury, on Wednesday December 6th, to commemorate the anniversary of the murders in 1989 of 14 young women at l’École Polytechnique de Montréal, and to honour the missing and murdered indigenous women as well as women who are victims or survivors of violence. Join us! 5:30 pm –  Assembly and 200 candles and white ribbons will be distributed at the corner of the Centre (on Francis street between Fleury street east and Linden street).

6:00pm – Candlelight and Welcome.  6:15pm -March towards Parc Ahuntsic (Millen street and Fleury street east).
