Join Cinema Politica Concordia for the Quebec premiere of IN PRAISE OF NOTHING (In Praise of Nothing), a poetic journey of deep connection, in which Iggy Pop narrates the misadventures of Nothing. The film will be followed by a Skype Q&A with director Boris Mitić.

This screening will be preceded by the short film Couleur du Moment by Jeremy Sandor, as part of the Documentary Futurism project.

The screening is co-presented with Festival du nouveau cinéma – FNC. Admission is by donation ($5-15 suggested). The venue is wheelchair accessible. Childcare provided on site by the Montreal Childcare Collective (https://childcarecollective.wordpress.com/about/ )

With a series of documentary images of nothing filmed all over the world by 62 cinematographers, IN PRAISE OF NOTHING takes the viewer on a contemplative and creative journey. Complemented by Iggy Pop’s insightful monologue, the all-encompassing vision of Nothing gathers poetic observations, small mysteries and deep insights in a visually striking and thought-provoking tale.

Joignez-vous à Cinema Politica pour la première québécoise de IN PRAISE OF NOTHING (In Praise of Nothing), un voyage poétique dans lequel Iggy Pop narre les mésaventures de Nothing. Le film sera suivi par une discussion Skype avec le réalisateur Boris Mitić.

Cette projection sera précédée par le court-métrage Couleur du Moment par Jeremy Sandor, faisant partie du projet Documentary Futurism.
