“Organizing Sustainability: Empowerment and Justice in Environmental Advocacy” is an 8-workshop course introducing the basics of community organizing for sustainability and environmental justice.

During week(end)ly, highly participative classes, you’ll learn about the roots of unsustainability, or even solutions to environmental issues. You’ll also get to practice communication strategies, group facilitation methods, and create plans for campaigns.
And for this special intensive session, we will go on field trips and do a few more fun activities than during the usual programing!

The course is FREE and open to all, but priority will be given to Concordia community members. It runs for 4 weeks in June for its first-ever summer iteration.
The workshops are based on knowledge and resource sharing, and are scheduled on Saturdays, 9am-3pm, on June 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th, 2018. They aim to give participants the tools to foster sustainable change in their community.
