Breast Cancer Action Quebec, a women’s health group dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer and the promotion of environmental health, is looking for an outreach and mobilization worker for our toxics education and legislative reform projects.
As a member of a small but dynamic team, the outreach and mobilization worker will coordinate contact with women’s, youth and community organizations across Quebec to promote our toxics education program and our mobilization project during the federal elections. She will promote use of our elections toolkit on reform of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act. She will also liaise with youth groups on our environmental health program to put together groups of girls for workshops offering training to become environmental health leaders.
