BGC Dawson is looking for an Executive Director to lead the organization alongside the Board of Directors.

This position requires the proven ability to work collaboratively with the Board of Directors, staff, community, partners, and donors in order to garner support and secure the resources essential to fulfilling our mission. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director provides visionary leadership and strategic direction to BGC Dawson. The Executive Director is responsible for enhancing new and current revenue streams and providing senior managerial oversight of key decisions, initiatives, human and financial resources, children, youth, family and senior programs delivery.

You have:

●    Post-secondary education in areas such as Social Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field, with at least three years of progressively responsible management and leadership experience in a not-for-profit organization

●    Past success working with a Board of Directors with the ability to cultivate new and existing Board member relationships

●    Demonstrated knowledge in the area of communications, marketing and community development.

●    Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff and manage and develop high-performance teams and financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, and resource development

●    Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and collaborating with other community organizations.

●    A current First Aid, CPR, and a clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VAPV) Vérification des antécédents judiciaires des personnes œuvrant auprès d’une clientèle vulnérable, must be provided.

Wages and Benefits

BGC Dawson offers a competitive benefits package. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position with some weekend and evening activities required, with the possibility of flexible working arrangements after onboarding.
