Senior Intervention Worker (Full time)

Founded in 1979, Hadley Community is a not-for-profit organization that provides housing and support services
for individuals who have struggled with homelessness, mental health issues, addictions and PTSD. Our goal is to

We are currently seeking a senior intervention worker, to coordinate the team and clients in our brand-new
residence for 12 individuals.

A fluently bilingual self-starter, you are a college or university graduate with a background in social services who
understands the needs of our clientele and respects the privacy and integrity of individuals living in precarious
circumstances. Your previous relevant experience and demonstrated professional judgment will be keys to
success in this fundamental role in our community.

Number of Hours:  approx. 35-40 hours
Experience: Must have minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Drug Addiction, Criminology, Psychosocial
Intervention, or an equivalent College level degree.
-Crisis intervention and case management experience
Reporting to the Manager of Client Services, you will be responsible for the following:
-Lead daily debrief sessions, plan agenda and supervise interventions with clients.
-Evaluate the needs and function of the residence.
-Support the onsite workers (Support workers, Case Workers, and Intervention Workers) to ensure the clients
have follow up and collaboration in achieving their autonomy and personal goals.
-Liaise with local community organizations, health care teams (CLSC & Hospitals), Public Curators to develop
collaborative approaches for clients needs.
-Ensure the implementation of programs
