Public hearing on Quebec Charter of Value – Bill 60
Community organizations and citizens that want to be heard in the public hearings on Bill 60 :Bill 60: Charter affirming the values of State secularism and religious neutrality and of equality between women and men, and providing a framework for accommodation requests this January have two options.
They can either submit a brief by December 20 2013 on letter-sized paper:
- by email (Word or unlocked PDF);
- by regular mail;
Briefs must include a summary of their contents.
Or they can send a request to appear:
The request must include a short statement summarizing the nature of the presentation to be made.
Public hearings
The Committee decides which individuals and organizations it will hear among:
- individuals and organizations having submitted a brief;
- citizens having requested to voice their opinion without having submitted a brief. A period not exceeding 45 minutes has been set aside to hear all of the opinions selected by the committee.
