Please note that only jobs for non-profit organizations, community groups, and community co-ops will be approved. We will not post jobs for businesses or academic institutions.

In addition, we require that our job postings include information about salary or wages. Being transparent and open about salary and wage is fundamental to addressing pay inequities throughout the sector and society, notably for members of marginalized communities. Further, it allows candidates to measure how much time and energy to invest in an application and balance their expectations.

This is a great article about why we believe this is an important policy. Note that if you write “To Be Determined” or something similar in the salary field, your posting will not be published.

After your job posting is received, a COCo staff person will review it before approving it and publishing it to the website.  This means there might be a delay of up to 5 business days between when you submit the posting, and when it is published.
