Housing Co-op Looking for New Members March 1st – 4 1/2 room flat

Housing Co-op in Lower NDG seeks New Member(s) Located in Lower NDG (Saint-Raymond area), 15 minutes walk west of Vendôme metro, on the Upper-Lachine bus lines as well. We have a 4 1/2-room flat available for March 1rst, 2013. The flat is in excellent condition; it has two bedrooms (1 average-size, 1 small), a large double living-room, a reasonable-size kitchen, a small laundry closet to fit a washer and a dryer, and lots of closet/cupboard space. We are looking for committed and responsible people who have time to participate in co-op duties and are able to co-operate with others. Presently, preference will be given to couples or room-mates with good maintenance skills/knowledge/experience, and other abilities such as bookkeeping, various administrative skills, and if possible knowledge & experience of/ability to sit on a Board of Directors. All members spend some of their time volunteering on a committee, therefore various skills (administrative, bookkeeping and/or maintenance) are necessary to be selected as co-op member. We keep our rents below market value and at a very reasonable cost for the area by each contributing to the ongoing functioning of our buildings as well as by handling the administration of the Co-op.
