Make your voice heard: The impact of austerity in the community sector
The objective of the Observatoire communautaire de l’austérité is to document the real impacts of austerity on community groups, on those who work in community groups and on those who use their services. It gives the community sector the chance to express themselves as much on what makes them indispensable, as on what obstacles they encounter to their work and the cuts that threaten their services. The testimonies collected by this process will be shared through various communication channels (website, newsletters, social media) of the campaign “Je tiens à ma communauté ˃ Je soutiens le communautaire”
Various formats are accepted: Videos, audio recordings, text, theatre, song, photos, cartoons, etc. Submissions can come from community workers, participants, volunteers, board members, community members, etc.
