HOUSING CO-OP SEEKS NEW MEMBERS

THE VACANCY: The Co-op is located in the St-Raymond area (NDG) at a 15-minute walk west of the Vendôme metro station on the 90 and 104 bus routes. Available on October 1rst, the flat is an unequipped 4 1/2-room with two bedrooms (1 medium size, 1 small) and a double living-room.

Presently the monthly members ‘rent is $507 (heating & hot water not included).

OCCUPANTS’ PROFILE: The Co-op needs to recruit a couple or room-mates (2 adults) with solid knowledge and experience of board of directors and co-op administration. Along with these abilities, willingness to sit on the Board of Directors in a near future will be essential to be selected as co-op members. Other skills in maintenance will be considered great assets.

Personal qualities such as a sense of commitment, responsibility, stability, fairness, a democratic attitude, self-confidence, maturity of character are necessary.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Please inquire only if you are serious about living in a housing co-operative environment, and if you have time for regular co-op activities. Applicants will need to fill the Co-op’s Application Form asap, and if their application is selected, they will have to participate in a first interview held at their place.
