We Want to Hear About Your Tech Problems (No, really!)
As many of you know, for the last 5 years, COCo has been providing tech and communications support for community organizations through our Commun-IT program. As we come up on this important milestone year, we felt it was important to check in with community groups about their Information and Communication Technology (ICT) needs!

ICT is a set of tools that community groups use to organize information, talk to their community, and simplify the logistics of their work. When we talk about ICT we’re talking about newsletters, websites, CRMs, as well as social media, email applications, and your office’s internal network connecting your computers to the wifi and the photocopier.
As you can guess, there’s a huge range of ICT tools that community organizations use to simplify their work and to reach their goals, and COCo’s Commun-IT service often works with groups to choose, implement, or learn how to use them.
To keep our work relevant and zero in on just what community organizations need, we’re doing an ICT Needs Assessment survey! We invite you to fill out the survey for your organization, or give us a call and we can cover these topics over the phone.
The survey includes questions about organizational challenges and strengths, asks about tools and how they were chosen, as well as communications plans. You do not need to have any specialized technical knowledge to complete the survey, but it may be helpful if an individual who participates in communications at your organization fills it out.
It should take about 15 minutes to fill out the survey, and we will keep any identifying data strictly confidential. We expect to share insights from this survey via our blog, newsletter, and social media in the new year.
We are greatly appreciative of your time!
