Whether it is within global social movements or within a neighbourhood or city, some citizens are active and show a willingness to change things. Are we faced with a new wave of citizen engagement? Within this webinar (in French), we will present different examples of citizen engagement and participation currently taking place. We’ll try to identify some of their characteristics. We will inquire on what has provoked their emergence, what they bring to our efforts for development and what they teach us about the mobilization practices of citizens to bring about these changes.
