Collective Impact Examples to Learn From
This article, published in the Stanford Social Innovation Review in 2011, argues that “large-scale social change requires broad cross-sector coordination, yet the social sector remains focused on the isolated intervention of individual organizations.” It provides several examples of collective impact initiatives; that is, successful large-scale collaborative initiatives in the U.S. that other communities can learn from. It also encourages funders to start rethinking their approach to funding to include movement-building.
