Help Us Make the ateliers/C More Accessible!
Recently, we have been working with Altergo to make ateliers/C more accessible and inclusive to everyone. As part of this project, we would like to learn about your experiences with our program so we can improve!
What do we mean by accessibility?
Universal accessibility is an approach that enables everyone to participate and benefit from everything Ateliers/C has to offer. Universal accessibility can look like a lot of things, but here are some examples of needs you might have:
- Need for accessibility for people with reduced mobility, such as access ramps and wider spaces for individuals using wheelchairs or families with strollers.
- Need for Braille signage, high-contrast displays, or large-print text to facilitate participation for people with visual impairments.
- Need for subtitles and sign language interpreters during presentations and events for people with hearing impairments.
What is Ateliers/C?
The Ateliers/C is a series of events by and for community organisations to learn from each other, share knowledge and foster a network of learning communities. It is a space to meet and learn, to offer the opportunity for organizations to get together in a safe space and talk about their challenges, their achievements, and to develop strategies to be better equipped and prepared to serve their communities and members.
