It’s Our Birthday!
We’re turning 20!
That’s right: on November 17th, 2019, COCo will officially celebrate our 20th anniversary. In fact, we’ll be celebrating from November until March, when we’ll hold our 20th Annual General Meeting. We’ll be sharing some of our lessons learned, we’ll have a party – you’ll be hearing from us!
But the first thing we’re going to do is have a fundraiser. It’s not for us, though – it’ll be for the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal. In fact, we’ve recently decided that every year on our birthday, we’ll hold a fundraiser for an Indigenous women’s organization in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal), and we’ll make our own donation as well.

The Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal has online donations through their website, and also have a list of items they need. It’s easy! It’s the right thing! Aaaand – it’s what we want most for our birthday ♡ !
