Organization Unbound – founded by former COCo staffer Tana Paddock – has just released a new short film entitled ‘Changing the way we change the world’ around expressive organisational change.
This 16-min film is intended as a conversation starter for staff, volunteers, board members and funders of social purpose organizations. Through a compilation of crowd-sourced interviews, it challenges us to pay closer attention to the link between an organisation’s social purpose and how that purpose is lived inside the organization on a daily basis.
If you’d like to host a film screening & dialogue in your organization or at an event,
visit this page for tips, a list of guiding questions, and download links. You will also find a series of free self-guided learning sessions designed to help people working in the same organization explore expressive change in practice.
They are organizing a global screening campaign between now and the end of the year, so if you are interested in hosting a screening and dialogue in the social change spaces you’re involved with, or contributing subtitles, get in touch!
They’ve also revamped the self-guided learning sessions that go along with the film, based on the feedback they received from beta-testing. They can be found here: http://organizationunbound.org/in-practice/
