Concordia is full of incredibly talented and skilled activists and organizers. This January, Solidarity Concordia is hosting an event that will create a space to learn, share and build with/from each other, including individuals, groups of friends, grassroots groups, unions and others.

Call-out for projects for 2nd edition of Transforme ta ville!

Do you dream of transforming your city? Do you want to leave a positive mark on your neighborhood while getting to know your neighbors? Do you know of underused public spaces in the city? YWVA Mothers Work Integration Program

The Y des femmes de Montréal presents its Mothers Work Integration Program. This bilingual service is offered over 19 weeks ths winter and includes group workshops and counselling, filmed interviews, a group exploration of career options, introductory computer and language courses (French or English), and an internship in your field of interest.

Tel-Aide is in urgent need of volunteer listeners

Tel-Aide callers come from all walks of life and all age groups. What they appreciate the most is finding, at the other end of the phone line, a person that will listen to them with empathy and compassion. Become a listener with Tel-Aide and see how your presence will make a difference! The art of listening can be learned. Tel-Aide will show you the ropes of empathetic listening so you can help people who need someone to talk to.
