Get involved in COCo's 25th anniversary organizing committee!

The Harvest Season: 25 Years of Social Justice, Collective Efforts, and Organizational transformations at COCo!

2025 marks COCo’s 25th anniversary. To that end, we’re hosting an event in November 2025 to celebrate our roots, our commitment to social justice, the impact of our work and anti-oppressive approach in the community sector. We also want to honor our harvests over the years: the collaborations and bonds forged through our collective efforts, as well as the successes and learnings in our various organizational transformations that have allowed us to flourish and grow over the years.

We are looking for 3 COCo members to get involved voluntarily in an organizing committee for COCo’s 25th anniversary. This committee will also include members of the COCo team and members of the Board of Directors.

COCo’s 25th anniversary committee objective:

Ensure the planning of the 25th anniversary event
Support the writing and revision of COCo’s 25th anniversary content
Share and celebrate COCo’s impacts, achievements and successes over the past 25 years
Support networking between change agents in the community sector

Profile sought:

Proficient in event organization and Excel documents, likes to go into the details of planning
People who have seen COCo change, evolve and grow over the years
Comfortable moving forward with group decisions, bouncing off collective creation and tacking on a 5 cent in other words: comfortable managing the unexpected
Available between June and November 2025. A first meeting is planned for June.

Desired frequency of meetings:

Between 6 and 8 meetings between June and November 2025, lasting from 1h30 to 2h maximum, during the day or in the evening, depending on people’s availability
Mainly virtual meetings, face-to-face meetings to be determined according to committee members’ availability.
