12. Deepening resilience: personal resourcing practices for remote work
Working from home on a remote team has certain benefits and many challenges. Suddenly, in the context of COVID-19, workers who may not have the circumstances, temperament, or experience to work remotely are thrust into this unique environment. This can increase personal stress, which can produce a domino-effect, impacting effectiveness, sense of purpose, burnout, and co-working relationships, not to mention personal health and home relationships.
In this arts-based, process-oriented two-hour session, we will work towards building a basic strategy for creating remote-working practices that support your well-being. The workshop will provide an introduction to healthy remote working relationships, both with self and others, and will explore:
Reimagining time and schedule; how is it different in a remote context
Finding nourishing moments with colleagues
Designing self awareness and self care rhythms and rituals
