Commun-IT is a pilot project of COCo that focuses on the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) by English-speaking community groups in Quebec. We aim to guide, support, and empower community groups to take advantage of Information and Communications Technology in order to better realize their missions. We work collaboratively to build the capacity of community groups, tech professionals, and the public.

Commun-IT offers a mix of free and paid services and support to community groups based in Quebec. We offer information sessions over the phone, in person, or by email for free. Unlike many technology businesses, our info sessions are NOT about trying to sell you something, we will explore many possible solutions to your communications and technology needs and will give you the resources you need to move forward. If your group does want more in-depth support we also offer training, coaching, and development services at affordable sliding scale rates. We may even be able to help you access funding to help your group implement communications and technology solutions.

Over the last two years Commun-IT has provides ICT services and coaching to hundreds of community groups. From communications planning to web development to graphic design – we offer all of our services at affordable sliding scale rates based on your group’s budget.

Training Opportunitie

Commun-IT regularly offers custom trainings in ICT with a popular education approach. These training opportunities range from large events with over a hundred people participating to smaller training sessions for a handful of groups.

Without the help of Spencer and Commun-IT, this CRM transition would have been nearly impossible for Head & Hands, as we lacked the internal capacity to carry out a complex IT project without the help of an experienced coach.
